    These ammonites are found in the Tarrant Member of the Eagleford Group, Tarrant County, Texas.  Tarrantoceras is a highly prized ammonite fossil sought for by local collectors and is also used as a biostratigraphic age marker for the earliest Middle-Cenomanian stage (~96 ma).
