Thalassinoides

These Thalassinoides are found on the bottom of a bed in fine-grained sandstone within delta front facies of a wave-influenced delta lobe.  Note the horizontal 'Y' and 'T' branching burrows forming a box work gallery.  Thalassinoides is a combination dwelling and feeding burrow probably produced by a decapod, a shrimp-like crustacean.
